What are missed calls
costing you?
Enter a few numbers from your own business. The calculator uses the same model as the reports we send out. It takes your call volume, your hours and your average booking value, and shows a range so you can see how much rests on the assumptions.
Count a typical trading day. A rough figure is fine.
Six days a week is about 300; seven is about 356.
Include calls that ring out, hit an engaged tone or go to voicemail. Our reports model 30% for a single line with no receptionist, and 18% where a dedicated receptionist still misses the peaks.
Use your own rate if you know it. Our reports default to 45%.
A blended figure across your services, in pounds. Use your average transaction if you know it.
Used to show how many hours a week nobody can answer.
The shaded band moves with your inputs. It stacks two uncertainties: missed calls converting at ten percentage points either side of the rate you entered, and a 10% tolerance either side of your booking value. The marker is your current inputs.
Modelled, not measured. The calculator assumes an unanswered call would have booked at the same rate as an answered one. It ignores repeat-visit value and the cancellation calls that become no-shows when nobody answers. A 30-day pilot replaces every figure here with a measured one.
